Worcester, MA – Holy Cross head football coach Dan Allen announced that the Holy Cross football program will welcome 31 new players this fall. HC, which posted a record of 4-6 last season, is happy with the class and hopes that it could fill some of the holes left by the 23 departing letterwinners.
As always the case with Allen's recruiting classes, the

newcomers are from all parts of the United States including, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington D.C. and West Virginia. The 31 players represent HC's second largest recruiting class since the 1998 season when the Crusaders brought in 36 players.

"We have brought in a lot of talented kids who can really have an impact on this program," said Allen. "One of our goals this season, recruiting wise, was bringing in the same type of kids that have helped turn this program around. I believe that we accomplished that goal. Both academically and athletically these are some of the finest high school seniors in the nation and we believe that they will positively impact the HC program and be outstanding members of the Holy Cross community."
