Every year all 3 teams of Crespi cheerleaders go to Cheer camp in the summer. The camp is located at UCSB in Santa Barbara and the girls spend 4, very rigorous days, learning the latest in cheers and routines. The Varsity and Freshman teams received "Superior" marks, the highest given, at camp. Because of their outstanding performance at camp, the Varsity team was invited to perform during the half-time at the Pro-Bowl in Hawaii. This year four girls from the Crespi squad went to Hawaii; Katie Rembis, Vanessa VanDeBovenkamp, Kelsey Harper and Tina Karathanas, all Juniors at Louisville High School. These girls represented Crespi High School and on February 1, 2004, in front of thousands at the Aloha Bowl, and in front of millions on TV, they performed routines during the half-time. It was an experience of a lifetime.
