The Crespi Varsity Football Team of '63, under the coaching of Mr. Tony Kopay and Mr. Tom Matthews, finished a disappointing season on a high note. Despite its small size and relative inexperience, the team solved the riddle to winning and defeated favored St. Monica's in the season's last game.
Such a season is never easy to accept, but considering the new system employed, both of coaches and techniques, the team did admirably.
